Standing proudly on the south-western tip of the island, the Fortress Citadel is the central command of Melmond's defenses. It houses the headquarters of the military, including strategy rooms, armories, and the quarters of high-ranking officers.
Mage Towers
Strategically positioned throughout the city, Mage Towers serve as magical defense strongholds. Mages within these towers use spells to enhance the city's protective barriers and detect potential threats in the surrounding waters.
Cannon Bastions
Along the fortified walls, Cannon Bastions house powerful cannons aimed at key points in the Mellrosian Strait. These cannons act as a formidable deterrent to approaching ships and provide additional firepower in times of conflict. |
| | | Located North of Albrook near the northern coast of Wellod, Ofenstaub is a small farming village specializing in livestock. Ofenstaub is home to many cooks, and their speciality consists of numerous preparations of pig. | | Schwineheim Farm
The village Pig Farm. At any point in time, one can find at least 30 to 50 hogs in the pens.
Ashton's Küche
The village Tavern run by a young man named Ashton. Along with his head chef, they serve pig on the daily, for breakfast, lunch and dinenr. Every day features a nearly unique preparation.
The Smokehaus
A large stone building where the village's meat is smoked to tender, juicy perfection.
The Sizzling Spit
A cozy inn that caters to visitors seeking a taste of Ofenstaub's culinary delights. The inn's chefs are renowned for their creative pig-based dishes, and guests can enjoy a comfortable stay in rustic accommodations.
Baconwood Grove
A scenic grove on the outskirts of Ofenstaub where villagers enjoy picnics and gatherings. The grove is named for its abundance of wild boar and is a popular spot for communal celebrations. |

Pick and Pan
A popular inn where miners unwind after a long day in the mines. The walls are adorned with pickaxes and pans, and the inn's menu features hearty meals to replenish the energy of hardworking miners.
Crystal Cascades
A picturesque waterfall on the outskirts of Walford, known for its crystal-clear water that sparkles with minerals. Locals believe the falls hold mystical properties and visit for relaxation and meditation.
Prospector's Rest
A small chapel where miners and their families gather for spiritual solace and ceremonies. The chapel's stained glass windows depict scenes of mining life, and it serves as a place of reflection. |
| | | The capital city of the Wellod Dominion, Waljiilis is an oasis city located in the Wellodian Desert. Protected by a mountain range to the east, and sea elsewhere, invasion of the city is quite difficult. The sand sea that extends out toward the ocean is so deep, fluid and twisting that the Dominion had to fashion a new form of boat to traverse. Without such a vehicle, travel to the capital is but a dream for many. A passage through the mountains was created by the dominion and set as a Customs checkpoint, where travelers can purchase passage via one of these rare ships. | | Nascha Palace

The Sandstone Bazaar
A sprawling marketplace famous for rare goods, exotic spices, enchanted textiles, and artifacts scavenged from desert ruins.
Shady merchants, illusionists, and pickpockets thrive here, alongside noble traders and guild representatives.
The Whispering Alley, a secluded passage within the bazaar, is where smugglers and spies conduct their business, passing coded messages through hand-carved sandstone markings.
The Well of Kings
An ancient, seemingly bottomless well said to be a direct conduit to the divine.
The ruling class claims that the well grants visions of past rulers, offering guidance, though some say it is merely an excuse to justify their rule.
Many would-be rulers toss sacred relics, coins, or even people into the depths as offerings.
The Gilded Sanctum
A temple dedicated to a pantheon of minor desert gods and celestial beings, adorned with elaborate golden murals and mosaics. These Gods are believed to be the lifeblood of Waljiilis, but some deniers believe them to simply be Avatars of the Prime Deities
The Hall of Eternal Echoes, a grand chamber within the sanctum, supposedly reverberates with the prayers of the faithful, though some suspect the echoes are a magical deception.
The Serpent’s Coil
A twisting network of underground tunnels, catacombs, and hidden chambers beneath the city.
Said to have been carved by an ancient cult, it now serves as a haven for criminals, rebels, and those seeking to disappear.
The deeper tunnels, known as the Venom Depths, house terrifying creatures and rumored gateways to forgotten ruins.

Acts as neutral ground for Concordian and Wellian traders, diplomats, and adventurers.
Its lower levels host a gambling hall and a hidden black market dealing in rare artifacts, stolen treasures, and questionable services
Saltspire Cathedral
A grand temple dedicated to Tash’ar, the Tidekeeper, once hailed as a Grand-Champion of Dione. Through his endeavors, Koholingen and its 'sister' city were formed, granting both Kingdoms a trading outlet.
The Cathedral spans the gulf, thus blending both Wellian and Concordian architectural styles, symbolic of the cities’ divided loyalties.
Pilgrims and sailors alike come here to seek blessings for safe voyages and bountiful catches, though some whisper of old sea-witch traditions lingering beneath the surface.
The underground crypts, known as the Flooded Halls, are said to contain the bones of ancient mariners and long-forgotten treasures, as well as something more sinister.
The Azure Gardens
A sprawling collection of tiered gardens and waterways that serve as both a public space and a refuge for scholars, nobles, and diplomats.
Formerly a Concordian project during their occupation, its construction was abruptly halted due to political tensions and border disputes, leaving portions of it incomplete or reclaimed by nature.
Some sections have become havens for rogue alchemists and herbalists, who cultivate rare plants with rumored mystical properties.
The Smuggler’s Run
A twisting network of hidden passages beneath Koholingen, said to have been built by enterprising traders who sought to bypass Wellian taxes and tariffs.
Still in use today, the tunnels connect key parts of the city, allowing contraband and information to flow freely.
The deepest tunnels, known as the Hollow Caverns, are rumored to house something far older than the city itself, whispering secrets in the dark. |
| | | A small island city in the Albed Sea, where coastal trade, islander traditions, and deep forests create a unique blend of cultures and mystery. While most of the populace is located toward the western coast, there are several smaller communities located in the eastern forests. | | Ahberz Fishery
One of the largest and oldest fisheries in Albrook, Ahberz has been supplying the island with fresh seafood for generations.
Known for its signature Salt-Cured Reef Eel and Stormcrab Claws, which are both delicacies across the Albed Sea.
The fishery is built on stilts over the water, allowing easy access for small boats and netcasters, fishermen who catch deep-sea creatures using enchanted nets.
Owned by Captain Garrik Ahberz, a retired privateer who claims to have once fought off a kraken single-handedly (locals take this with a grain of salt).
Rumors suggest that, beneath the fishery, there’s a hidden black-market dock, where rare and sometimes illegal goods change hands under the cover of night. The good Captain vehemently denies these claims.
Albedo Tavern
A warm and welcoming establishment near the Pearl Market, famous for its White Rum Cider and Seafarer’s Stew, a spicy seafood dish served in an edible bread bowl.
The interior features shell chandeliers and a massive whale skull mounted above the bar, allegedly from a ghost whale sighted near the Bleached Bluffs.
The tavern is a common meeting spot for sailors, merchants, and bounty hunters, often used as a neutral ground for settling disputes.
Run by Rafael "Raff" Albedo, a former shipwright with a missing hand (which he replaced with a metal prosthetic that doubles as a bottle opener).
Every new moon, the tavern hosts "The Glow Tide," a drinking contest where competitors drink bioluminescent cocktails that glow in the dark.
Basement Level: An underground wine and rum cellar is rumored to contain a hidden passage leading to an unknown part of the city. Some say it was once a smuggler’s route; others whisper of something older lurking beneath.
Booker's
Tea shop that sells not only exotic flavors, but local flavors created from Albrook's native plant-life. Very popular, and many travelers come here for a taste. The Dominion has set up a small port south-west of Albrook to offload supplies for the island as well as to stock up on tea stores, for shipment to the Captial.
The Western Wharf
The beating heart of Albrook’s economy, a bustling dock filled with traders, sailors, and local fishers.
Notable for its Sunstone Piers, built from a rare, luminescent stone that absorbs sunlight and faintly glows at night.
The Drunken Gull Tavern, a seaside bar known for its spiced rum and infamous brawls, serves as a gathering place for locals, adventurers, and the occasional pirate looking for work.
The Pearl Market
A colorful street market where islanders sell exotic fruits, handmade crafts, and jewelry made from Azure Pearls, which are said to bring luck at sea.
Merchants from neighboring cities make frequent stops, bringing in foreign wares and news from the mainland.
The market is partially overseen by the Brookrunners, a guild of local traders who regulate business but are rumored to be involved in smuggling.
The Whispering Mangroves (Eastern Forests)
A dense, misty mangrove forest on the eastern side of the island, filled with bioluminescent flora and strange echoes that give it its name.
Small fishing communities and hidden villages exist deep within the trees, many of which follow old, superstitious traditions.
Locals warn travelers to avoid the Moonveil Ruins, an overgrown temple rumored to be haunted by spirits or something far worse.
The Mistral Vineyards
A unique winery on the eastern side of the island, where sea-winds and volcanic soil give the grapes a distinct, almost magical flavor.
Produces the famous Mistral Wine, which is prized across the Wellod Dominion for its smooth taste and rumored aphrodisiac properties.
The vineyard is owned by the eccentric Duchess Elvira Rochefort, whose family has lived on Albrook for generations and is said to know every secret the island holds.
