Just as the Deities have an influence over the world and its creatures, so too do Devils and Demons. Typically residing withing the 13 Hells- also known as "The Hell" and "Gehenna" Archdevils make their presence known, be it through contracts, collusion or coercion.

Devils, being a generally Hierarchal Race of Creatures -  they typically work off contracts and deeds, rather than force. As such, one wanting to make a deal, or pact with a Devil, or Archdevil best beware of the fine print.

Demons on the other hand, are chaotic beings born of the abyss. Formed from corrupted souls by the The Abyss- also known as "Tartarus" is the deepest pit, where monsters, beasts and souls beyond redemption reside.

Demons have little need for contracts, and typically resort to taking hostages, threats, and possession to steal the souls of the living. They have little respect for rules and laws, and those that do follow a Hierarchy typically follow one of "might makes right" following only those who have proven themselves stronger.
