Retaining Consciousness: When you are reduced to 0 hit points, and begin dying, you may wish to retain consciousness and say your final farewells, give last-minute advice, or insult your enemies, drawing their ire towards you in your last moments.
Special Concentration Check: Make a Concentration Check. The DC for staying concious is 10, or half the damage that felled you to 0 hit points, whichever is greater. On a success, you retain consciousness, on a failure, you become unconscious. Regardless of the Result, you fall prone and are not able to rise, and you make saving throws as normal.
No Spell Concentration: Because you are focusing your efforts on staying conscious, a Spellcaster that is concentrating on a spell is no longer able to concentrate.
Minimal Activity: As you are concentrating solely on staying conscious, you are limited in what actions you may take. You are restricted to Speach, and the Item Interaction. You may usue Item Interaction to stow/draw a small item, such as a locket, or a cigarette for last rites, or to make an attempt to shove an item toward an ally. Whichever you decide to do, ask the DM for approval, if it is accepted, you may do so.
As normal you are restricted to 25 words ar round.
I Didn't Hear No Bell!: Using your 25 words per round, you may choose to insult enemies, drawing their aggression back toward you. This of course puts you in further peril, but may draw attention enough for your allies to either escape, or counterattack the enemy. Make a Persuasion or Deception check against an enemy(ies) insight.
